Meet Portia

Portia Blanchard is a devoted wife of 13 years, a proud mother of seven, and a woman on a mission to inspire others to recognize their worth. As Mrs. Maple Mountain, she is honored to compete for the title of Mrs. Utah America, using her platform, You Are Worth Living For, to help individuals break free from the fog of comparison, embrace their inherent value, and find joy in everyday moments.

Her platform, “You Are Worth Living For,” was born from her personal journey of overcoming self-doubt and embracing the extraordinary in everyday moments. Through her book, speaking engagements, and uplifting presence on social media—both in English and American Sign Language—she helps individuals break free from comparison and discover their unique beauty. 

 Her passion for uplifting others extends into her work as a makeup artist and health coach, where she encourages confidence from the inside out.

Her mission to uplift other extends into her community service. She founded the “Mother-Daughter Royal Party: Celebrating the Divinity in You” event, which uplifts and strengthens the bond between mothers and daughters by recognizing their divine worth. She has also spoken at a youth conference on “Habits for Happiness,” helping young people cultivate positive routines that lead to confidence and joy.

Beyond the pageant stage, Portia cherishes the simple yet meaningful moments—kitchen dance parties, one-on-one dates with her children, and cross-country road trips with her husband, filled with car karaoke. Her perspective on life was forever changed when her seventh child was born lifeless in an ambulance and miraculously resuscitated nine minutes later. That experience solidified her belief that life is precious and should be celebrated every day—not just at the end.
